Districts will caucus to nominate
and elect the District President
and Vice President. Vice
Presidents will be installed by
Dept. President Shirley Turner.
Unit Presidents will be asked to
give a report on the activities of
their Unit during the 2006-2007
year. Please limit your oral report
to three minutes. A longer, more
detailed report, three copies, are
to be given to the Dept. President,
Dept. Historian, and Dept.
Secretary.
Each Unit in the District is asked
to bring at least three door prizes,
more is better!

The Auxiliary met at the J. T. Neely Building, Veterans Boulevard, Veterans Park

We had a great day at Tupelo, with gracious hosts at Post and Unit 49, and delicious food.
The Auxiliary meeting was well executed, with wonderful reports from the Units of the
Northern Area. District Presidents nominated include Debbie Davis, District 1;
Mauvalene Mann, District 2; and Inez McCain, District 3. Vice Presidents elected and
installed by Dept. President Shirley Turner include Lynda Love, District 1; Martha
Rodgers, District 2; and Billie Gordon, District 3.

It was another great area meeting at the Columbus Post 69. The
Post was big and beautiful with more space than any of us could ever hope for at our own
Post home. The fish fry for lunch was most delicious, and Post/Unit 69 were gracious
hosts. After a slew of door prizes were given away, the ladies of the Auxiliary went to the
Unit's meeting room for business. District Presidents nominated include Joyce Porter,
District 4; Bobbie Jerome, District 5; and Tommie Stroud, District 6. The Vice
Presidents elected and installed by Dept. President Shirley Turner include Wendy
Walters, District 4; Patricia Trest, District 5; and Lillie Scott, District 6.

It's always a delight to visit Post/Unit 24 in Hattiesburg, who are always gracious hosts.
We had a Post full of Legionnaires and Auxiliary members--great attendance. And, of
course, we had a delicious lunch. District Presidents nominated include Kathy Dungan,
District 7; Johnnie Harrison, District 8; and Janet Aime, District 9. The Vice Presidents
elected and installed by Dept. President Shirley Turner include Angela Kilcrease;
District 7; Esther Dobersberger, District 8; and Rose Blanchard, District 9.
