Department of Mississippi 2007 State Convention
State Convention is scheduled for July 13-15, 2007, at Corinth.
The host hotel is the Holiday Inn Express, with the Econo Lodge connected. Call the Holiday Inn
Express at 662.287.1407 or fax 662.287.7409. If no space available, call the Econo Lodge at
662.286.6071 or fax 662.286.9608. Time is getting short, and we want each Post and Unit in
Mississippi to be represented. Get involved in your Department! You’ll be glad you did.
Items you should bring, as a Unit, include:
Each Unit should bring at least three door prizes.
Unit Scrapbook, due by noon on Friday, July 13, for judging
Unit Press Book, due by noon on Friday, July 13, for judging
Anchor Club renewals, last chance for the 2006-2007 year
Membership turn-in for the new year, 2007-2008
Lots of Unit members and delegates, including your juniors
Lots of $1 bills for raffles and fundraisers for the Dept. Support fund
Dept. Program Chairmen and District Presidents: Year-End Reports (5 min. max.) and awards for Units
