American Legion Auxiliary
Department of Mississippi
A Program to Support our Department

Membership in THE ANCHOR CLUB is
open to individuals donating $50 or more to the
Department President's Support Project.  At State
Convention in July 2005, we reached our 100
charter members.  We even exceeded that mark,
thanks to the generosity of so many dedicated
Legion Family members! The Department Executive
Committee also voted to continue the program.

We have begun a new year, and thus, it's time to renew your pledge for
2007-2008 to support the Department of Mississippi!

Please send your $50 commitment  today to the
Dept. Office.  If you've not been a member yet,
please join as we need your valuable support.

By joining this elite club, you will enable the Auxiliary to continue administrative
operations and allow the Auxiliary to respond to future needs in our Department.

Our headquarters office has always operated on a shoestring budget, and now
it is time to provide ample operational funds.  We have been very lucky to have
had secretaries that knew how to stretch every penny and work for low pay.
The cost of running the office increases each year, and the day will come when
we will not be able to have a secretary who can afford to work for the salary we
pay.  When membership decreases, our operating funds decrease, thus
becoming a major issue for which we need to plan.  By becoming a member of
The Anchor Club, you will be Anchoring Together to keep our organization
alive and well.

Let's all do our part and become a member of
The Anchor Club today...not
limited to the Auxiliary--Posts are welcome to join!
